Going behind the scenes on how Capitals players eat

The Capitals held a special event for VIP's and season ticket holders to share some of Chef Robbie's catering secrets (ABC7)

Preparing food that's both healthy and delicious isn't always easy.

However, Capitals fans recently had a chance to learn how the Caps eat.

Monumental Sports Network held a special event at Kettler Iceplex for VIP members to go behind the scenes in the kitchen with chef Robbie Wood and defenseman Madison Bowey.

Chef Robbie demonstrated how to make three different healthy appetizers: spicy pecan goat cheese rolls, smoked salmon on winter radish and martini beef skewers.
