George Chmiel goes beastmode for the brave

Beastmode for the Brave

George Chmiel is an ultra-runner who is used to pushing himself to extremes.

"I am not an elite athlete, said Chmiel. "I mean come on, not in this lifetime, but I have a big heart and I don’t quit".

Chmiel won’t quit because he set out on a 3,000 mile run from San Diego to Manhattan all to raise awareness for veteran suicide.

So far, Chmiel has raised $200,000 for The Guardian for Heroes Foundation, which Chris Kyle, the late navy seal of "American Sniper" fame helped start.
