Redskins vs. Eagles game time moved to 6:55 p.m.

The kickoff for Monday night's season opening game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles has been moved up to 6:55 p.m.

The National Football League and ESPN announced the change Tuesday, which moves the planned kickoff up by just a few minutes.

The gates at FedEx Field will open at 5 p.m., while the parking lots will open at 3 p.m.
