The Washington Wizards have had discussions with the Chicago Bulls about parting with the #3 pick in this week's NBA Draft in exchange for Luol Deng, ESPN reports.

ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the Wizards and Bulls have had preliminary discussions about a trade that would send Washington's 1st round pick in Thursday's draft in exchange for Deng. Stein says the trade would likely also involve moving center Emeka Okafor to Chicago.

Deng was an NBA All-Star in 2012-13, averaging 16.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for the Bulls. His nine-year career with Chicago has seen him average 16 points per night over 614 career games.

Okafor started in 77 of the 79 games he played in for Washington last season, averaging just under 10 points per game.
