Construction is set to finally begin on a new multi-use stadium in Loudoun County this week, WTOP reports, and workers have precious little time to get the facility ready for action.
Groundbreaking for the BallPark at One Loudoun will take place on Tuesday, and officials say that it'll be ready for action by next May, when a minor league baseball team moves in.
The 10,000-seat stadium will play host to the Loudoun Hounds, a new team in the independent Atlantic League, and the Virginia Cavalry, a North American Soccer League expansion franchise.
The BallPark at OneLoudoun will sit where Route 7 meets the Loudoun County Parkway, just up the road from Redskins Park.
