D.C. United is postseason-bound, hoping to host first playoff match

D.C. United Head Coach Ben Olsen and Goalkeeper Bill Hamid speak after the team's traIning session Tuesday (ABC7)

D.C. United is back in the postseason for the third straight year. The questions now: who will they play and where will that first playoff game take place?

United finishes the regular season Sunday at Orlando City SC, a match you can watch on ABC7 starting at 4pm.

If United wins at Orlando, the Black-and-Red would host a playoff match next Wednesday or Thursday. A loss at Orlando, and United could start the playoffs on the road - depending on what Montreal does in its regular season finale.

Regardless of venue, D.C. United will play either Montreal or Philadelphia in a one-game 'win or go home' first-roundmatch, with the winner advancing to a home-and-away aggregate goal series next weekend.

I spoke with Head Coach Ben Olsen and Goalkeeper Bill Hamid following Tuesday's training session.

Please watch the video above to hear their comments on the importance of Sunday's match and the road ahead for the club.
