ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being limited in practice with a bone bruise in his right knee.
Both teams are 1-2 after winning their openers and then dropping close games after that.
Redskins QB Robert Griffin III leads NFL rookies with a 103.5 passer rating and leads all quarterbacks in yards rushing (209, 6.5-yard average) and his three touchdowns rushing are tied for most among all players.
Tampa has the No. 1 rushing defense, yielding 47.3 yards per game, but that is totally misleading: The Bucs have allowed a league-high 353.3 yards per game passing.
Williams was hurt in last week's loss to Cincinnati and did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. He said he did what he could in practice Friday and that "it would be tough" for him to play if the game were right away.
Nickel cornerback Cedric Griffin won't play because of hamstring injury. Receiver Pierre Garcon is questionable with a sore right foot, and kick returner Brandon Banks is also questionable with a hip injury.
Safety Brandon Meriweather took part in the full practice and is listed as probable after missing the first three games with a sprained left knee.
