Kettler Capitals Iceplex, the official practice facility of the Washington Capitals, will host the orientation camp for USA Hockey in preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The August 25-29 camp will prepare the men's ice hockey team for the February games in Sochi, Russia.

“We are thrilled that Kettler Capitals Iceplex has been chosen by USA Hockey to host their 2013 U.S. Men’s National Team Orientation Camp,” said Capitals president and vice president George McPhee. “This selection is a testament to the growing popularity of hockey in the Washington area and we feel there is no better place to hold the U.S. Olympic camp than the Nation’s capital.”

More details about the camp will be released at a later time.

Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma has been selected to be the USA's coach in Sochi, USA Hockey announced Saturday.
