WASHINGTON (AP) - The Washington Nationals have put the brakes on tailgating.

The team said it has quietly put an end to the practice because of construction.

Recent construction has cut in half the available capacity in the only parking lot where tailgating had been permitted, Lot W.

The team said as a result it needed to find more game-day parking, and tailgating got cut.
