University of Maryland basketball player Jordan Williams has signed with an agent and will stay in next month’s NBA draft, ending his two-year career at College Park.
Williams was a first-team, all-ACC selection last season as a sophomore. He led the Terps with 17 points per game to go with almost 12 rebounds.
Mock drafts predict that Williams could be a first-round draft pick.
“We wish Jordan well as he pursues his dream of playing in the NBA,” said Maryland head coach Gary Williams in a statement released Wednesday.
