From his badges boasting CIA Special Agent and U.S. Customs Special Agent to his uniforms ranging from Boy Scout troop leader to Coast Guard member, it would appear Roy Antigua is a highly decorated military man.
Only police say it was just that, an appearance.
Instead, police say 52-year-old Antigua of New Port Richey Florida amassed the collection of fake uniforms and ID's mostly from online purchases. He even made his own badges using holograms.
He was arrested on a probation violation charge, but when he presented his identification and demanded to speak to the chief of police, officers became suspicious.
Up until his arrest, Antigua was a convincing imposter - even the police chief was charmed by his lies at an event honoring military members, where Antigua was dressed in his coast guard finest, with the rank of Lt. Commander.
