Students at New Oxford High School in Adams County, Penn., were mourning the deaths of five of their classmates after they were killed in a fiery crash Monday.
The students were identified as Oscar Banda, 17, a senior; Diego Aguilar, Anthony Campos, Chasey Sheridan, all 16 and all juniors; and Chelsea McFalls, 15, a sophomore.
The accident occurred after class Monday, just two miles from school. All of the teens were killed on impact.
Witnesses told police the blue Saturn in which the kids were traveling crossed the southbound lanes of Route 94 and collided head-on with a pick-up truck towing an empty trailer.
Before class Monday, hundreds of students gathered in front of the high school to mourn together. An impromptu vigil was held and most people wore blue, one of the school colors.
Students were seen grieving and consoling each other as police and teachers greeted their arrival, assuring them support from counselors would be available throughout the day.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol.
