Hempfest, the city of Seattle's annual celebration of all things marijuana, is set to get underway this weekend, and it will likely be a spot were Seattle's finest will be hanging out.
They won't be making pot-related arrests, nor will they be partaking in the festivities. They'll be handing out Doritos.
It's an attempt by the Seattle Police Department to direct locals to a new website which outlines the legal ways to use marijuana in the city.
Dubbed "Operation Orange Fingers," officers will hand out 1,000 free bags of Doritos (for when the munchies hit, of course) with a label attached sending them to the website.
