Social media explodes over President Obama's tan suit

WASHINGTON (WJLA/ABC News) -- He had to sneak it in before Labor Day.

President Barack Obama held a news conference Thursday on the threat of ISIS in Iraq and Syria -- but all eyes were on the crisp tan suit he was sporting just days before Labor Day, which fashionistas deem to be the cut-off point for wearing white and other light colors.

Social media has since lit up with viewers' comments about the commander-in-chief's summer fashion choice. Some loved it, some hated it. If anything, at least Obama knows how Hillary feels.

Here's a look at what some people are saying on Twitter:

POTUS is speaking now. Wearing a tan suit...this breaks from the standard navy or gray suits we've seen for years.

People, it's two days before labor day weekend. Let Obama wear a khaki suit. Personally I'd prefer linen but who really cares.

Obama's tan suit is a signal. We just need to figure out *what he's trying to tell us*

BREAKING: Steve Harvey lends President Obama his suit in a pinch.

This is what happens when Obama bypasses Congress to purchase a suit.

Imagine if Obama wore a tan suit after Labor Day. That would be grounds for impeachment.
