      IRS funding and the future of the Farm Bill

      The GOP-controlled House unveiled slashing cuts to the IRS on Tuesday -- punishing the{}beleaguered agency for targeting the Tea Party and other non-profits seeking tax-exempt status. They would reduce the IRS budget by $3 billion -- 24 percent below levels approved in March.
