Debt ceiling debate restarts with new deadline
The Federal Government's borrowing authority will run out sometime in the middle of October, reviving the fiscal debate between the Obama Administration and cost-cutting Republicans, according to a report by The Washington Post.
In exchange for raising the government's debt limit, some Republicans are pushing for significant new spending cuts while others are asking for a delay or the repeal of President Obama's Affordable Care Act. The President said he will not negotiate on the debt limit.
