The candidates for President are putting their finishing touches on their political pitches for Wednesday night’s debate. The final touches are also being put on the venue for the debate at the University of Denver.
GOP challenger Mitt Romney’s camp says the GOP candidate is anxiously preparing. Meanwhile, President Obama is also brushing up on his debating skills since the last time they were tested was four years ago.
During Wednesday’s debate, it’s likely that Romney will be pressed for specifics, like how his budget would work.
While Republicans say the debate should focus on the President’s poor economic policies and high unemployment rate.
The topic at hand will be foreign policy with a special emphasis on the economy, health care and the role of government. This match-up is one of the last opportunities for both Obama and Romney to win over undecided voters.
The 90-minute debate will be the first of three in the coming weeks. All three are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET and end at 10:30 p.m.
