Turkey Hill recalls three ice cream flavors

Turkey Hill, the Lancaster County-based dairy in Pennsylvania, has recalled three ice cream products after determining that some may contain metal shavings, the company said.

In a release, the company said the products were sold at select Turkey Hill Minit Markets in Pennsylvania and select Wal-Mart stores in Pennsylvania and Maryland as well as other small grocers and convenience stores in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

All affected containers would have been purchased after Oct. 1.

The recall includes:

1-pint packages of Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Premium Ice Cream

1.5-quart packages of Turkey Hill Fudge Ripple Premium Ice Cream

1-Pint packages of Turkey Hill Moose Tracks Stuff'd Frozen Dairy Dessert

Consumers who believe they have purchased an affected product are encouraged to call Turkey Hill Dairy at 1-800-MY-DAIRY or return them to the store for a full refund.
