It's time for Ronald Page to pay up.
Back in 2009, the retired General Motor's worker seemingly had a stroke of good luck when a bank glitch allowed him to withdraw endless cash from casino ATMs, the Huffington Post reported. Page withdrew a total of $1.5 million dollars from several Detroit area casinos, but within fifteen days had gambled it all away.
Bank of America later froze Page's account and he was indicted on stealing funds.
Page has since been covicted and is now awaiting his sentencing set for June 27.
Huffington reports say prosecutors are suggesting a 15-month sentence. They believe the bank should be seen partially responsible for the free funds.
