SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) - Karen Jacob wants her family's chickens back.
Jacob tells the Carroll County Times she came home Sunday to find a sticky note that read "Sorry I couldn't find you. Took six chickens, left $40." The note was signed, "Frank."
Jacob and her husband occasionally sell eggs from their flock of 20 chickens, but they do not sell the chickens themselves. Jacob says the missing chickens belong to her two sons who are 8 and 11. They have names such as Gilderoy Lockhart, Madam Pooch and Michelle Obrahma.
Jacob says she began calling her neighbors after she found the note at the family's farm near Sykesville. No one knows who Frank might be. The family also filed a police report and posted on Craigslist to get the chickens back.
