Hunter Yelton has sexual harassment removed from permanent record

(WJLA) - The Colorado 6-year-old who was disciplined - perhaps too strongly - for kissing a girl on the hand at his elementary school will have the words "sexual harassment" expunged from his record.

Hunter Yelton, a young boy from Canon City, Colo., had sexual harassment claims put onto his permanent record after he admitted to kissing a girl he had a crush on on the hand.

His mother quickly sprang into action, KRDO reports, insisting that while her son knows what he did was wrong, the strong wording was not necessary or appropriate.

In a statement to KRDO, the school's superintendent said that "sexual harassment" had been replaced by "misconduct" after a meeting between the principal and Hunter's parents.
