Toasting your friends is about to get a whole lot more public.

According to Fox News, Budweiser is beginning to roll out a product called the Buddy Cup that automatically connects people when they clink glasses and say "Cheers!"

The glasses each have an embedded chip that connects to Facebook. When two drinkers toast, the chip connects them on the social network.

“The Buddy Cup brings together the in-bar experience with Facebook, the most used social media channel for our consumers,” Manuel Macchiavello of Budweiser in Brazil told ABC News.

Budweiser is currently marketing the Buddy Cup to the Brazilian market. There's no word as to when the social pint glass may make its way to American bars.
