Bradley Manning verdict to be announced Tuesday

A verdict in the Bradley Manning trial will be announced at 1 p.m. Tuesday, ABC reports.

Manning, a Private First Class in the United States Army who has admitted to leaking hundreds of classified government documents to Wikileaks, has been on trial at Fort Meade since early June.

The Oklahoma native is charged with aiding the enemy, theft of public property and numerous other charges in connection to the release of tens of thousands of government cables and hundreds of thousands of classified reports pertaining to the Iraq war.

Manning has been in custody and has been held at numerous locations, including the Marine Brig at Quantico, since 2010.

Closing arguments in Manning's case took place last week.
