President Barack Obama's smoking habit was the object of his ire for a portion of his first term in office, and several years after quitting, he apparently has a very good reason to stay away from the habit.
President Obama was caught by an open microphone Monday during a roundtable discussion at the United Nations talking about his old habit with a UN official.
"I haven't had a cigarette in probably six years," Obama said. "I'm scared of my wife."
Michelle Obama, of course, has spent her term as First Lady on a crusade to improve the health of children and adults nationwide.
The president says he continues to chew nicotine gum in an attempt to contain his cravings.
