PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A convoy of tractor-trailers loaded with wreaths is leaving Maine bound for Arlington National Cemetery outside Washington.

More than 20 trucks left Worcester Wreath Co. in Harrington on Sunday morning loaded with up to 100,000 wreaths that will be placed on headstones at the cemetery in Arlington, Va.

This is the 20th year for the event. It was started when wreath company owner Morrill Worcester arranged to rest 5,000 Maine-made balsam wreaths on Arlington grave sites.

Worcester later founded Wreaths Across America. It's also organizing other ceremonies involving 225,000 wreaths at more than 700 veterans' cemeteries and memorials across the country and overseas.
