Young girl hit by car in Northeast D.C.
A young girl suffered non-life threatening injuries Thursday morning after she was hit by a car in Northeast D.C.
D.C. Police said that the 9-year-old girl was hit just before 8 a.m. in the 2900 block of Central Avenue NE. She was conscious and breathing when she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver that hit the girl remained on the scene.
Streets are closed near Central Avenue and Clinton Street NE during an investigation.
