Woodbridge man wanted for strangulation and abduction in domestic dispute

A Woodbridge man accused of strangulation and abduction in a domestic situation is on the run, police say.

Police responded to a report of a violent encounter at about 9:26 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 4300 block of Ensbrook Lane in Woodbridge.

A 47-year-old woman told police she and an acquaintance were in a verbal dispute when the man punched her and grabbed her, preventing her from leaving the residence. She said the man also grabbed her throat and choked her, according to a statement from Prince William County Police.

When the victim broke free, a family member called police. The man fled the scene before police arrived.

Police have warrants for the arrest of Allan Fitzgerald Tucker, 53, of the 4300 block of Ensbrook Lane in Woodbridge.

Tucker is described as a black man, 6’ and 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He’s wanted for strangulation, abduction, and domestic assault and battery.
