Winter Weather Advisory for DC and Baltimore, up to 2" of snow possible

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for D.C. and Baltimore metros from 1-7 PM. Anything that falls will stick. This could be expanded to parts of northern Virginia later today.

It could get slick quick for the afternoon and evening commute.

It will be cloudy and cold to round out the work and school week. High temperatures will only reach the upper 30s.

Temperatures rise heading into the weekend. Tomorrow will be sunny and more seasonable with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Sunday will be closer to 50 degrees with increasing clouds. A stray late day shower is possible; however, most areas will stay dry.

Next week starts off mild with highs in the 50s Monday and Tuesday. Another cold front slides through Tuesday bringing a few rain showers and dropping highs back into the upper 40s Wednesday and Thursday.
