Two men have been arrested in Stafford County and charged with the murder of a man whose body was found last week, six years after he was reported missing, police say.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office says remains found on the property of 881 Belle Plains Road in Stafford County on Thursday, March 21, have been identified as Jason Plaster, who was a resident of Stafford County when he was reported missing by family members in July of 2007. Plaster was 31 in 2007.

William Hughes, 44, of Stafford and Stuart Sullivan, 49, of Fredericksburg are both charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Hughes was arrested where he works, at Scooter's Works, in Stafford Friday night. Sullivan was arrested at the Stafford County Sheriff's Office Friday night.

Investigators say Plaster died of gunshot wounds.
