(WJLA) - A water pipe burst Tuesday in the baggage claim area at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, sending water cascading onto baggage belts and the floor.

MWAA officials say that water was immediately shut off to the area after the pipe burst, where water quickly piled up on the tile floor.

Officials say that the water caused more of an inconvenience than any damage. Airport operations were unaffected.
