The Washington Nationals are in the playoffs for the first time since moving to D.C., and they're officially one of the hottest tickets in town.

Tickets for a potential National League Wild Card game and three games in the National League Division Series went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, and the site was instantaneously flooded with fans trying to get their hands on seats.

In a matter of minutes, tickets in many price sections for NLDS games were snapped up, at after some time, pairs of seats were unavailable in most sections.

Ticket prices for the Division Series ranged from $35 for seats across the upper deck to $315 spots in Party Suites across Nationals Park.

If the Nationals end up as a Wild Card team in the National League, they'll likely host a play-in game at Nationals Park on Friday, Oct. 5.

The more likely scenario, though, is that Washington clinches the National League East division title and advances immediately to the NLDS. In that case, the Nationals will likely host home games between Oct. 9 and 12.

Washington's magic number to clinch the NL East entering games on Friday is eight.

ABC7's Horace Holmes was there at Nationals Park and talked with fans who lined up at the ticket office early Friday afternoon. And.they learned there were no tickets left. You can't buy them at the ticket office.
