Washington D.C. DMV rates going up for licenses, parking permits

WASHINGTON (AP) It's the last day to pay lower fees for driver's licenses and other permits in the District of Columbia.

A variety of fees at the city's Department of Motor Vehicles increase on Saturday. Among the increases: residential parking permits for most people will go up from $15 to $25, and the fee to obtain a duplicate driver's license goes from $7 to $20.
