Virginia high school teacher Manuael Dillow is facing 12 felony charges for allegedly firing a blank gun in a classroom.
The incident, which took place in early April, happened at the Neff Center in Abingdon, Va.
Washington County Virginia Sheriff Fred Newman said the Dillow, 60, lined up 12 students in a welding class and fired the blank gun in their direction, ABC station WHAS11 reported.
Newman said the gun was a "blank firing handgun" and cannot shoot bullets. Dillow borrowed the gun from a teacher in another department, WHAS11 reported.
