Va. woman charged after allegedly leaving 9-month-old girl in stroller to assault man

A woman was charged after she allegedly left a 9-month-old girl in a stroller in the middle of the road while she chased, bit, and then attacked a man on Oct. 8 in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Luz Anabel Fernandez, 19, was charged with felony child neglect and domestic assault and battery, according to Prince William County Police.

The infant girl was not injured in the incident.

Police say Fernandez was in an argument with a 28-year-old man in the 2700 block of Potomac Mill Circle.

Fernandez left the infant girl in the stroller, chased the man, and assaulted him, according to police.
