Va. Delegate holds contest to share his Redskins season tickets with constituents
LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (WJLA) - Virginia state Delegate David Ramadan was overjoyed when, after 20 years on the waitlist, his name was finally picked to buy season tickets to the Washington Redskins football games.
Now that he finally has his tickets, Ramadan has decided to share the wealth with his constituents.
Ramadan, who lives in South Riding and represents the 87th District , told InsideNOVA.com he has a lot of fun attending Redskins games, and felt compelled to share that fun with voters in his district.
Plus, it's the chance to bend the ear of your state delegate about any issues weighing on your mind at the same time.
Ramadan has chosen 10 games to take constituents to, and voters in the 87th District - which spans much of Loudoun County, Virginia - can enter to attend with him on his website.
For the first game of the season, Ramadan told InsideNOVA around 120 residents entered the online drawing, and he had a good time with the winner who went with him.
