There's a bear on the loose in the Urbana area, and it's causing many residents of the area to take caution as they move about outside.
The Frederick News-Post reports that a black bear has been spotted several times in the Frederick County town, and officials say that it's the right time of year for the young ones to hunt for food.

Maryland Department of Natural Resources officials tell the News-Post that despite their imposing nature, black bears in this region are typically not too aggressive and don't pose much threat to people.
