      Sarah Elizabeth Hancock, University of Maryland student, found dead

      The death of a University of Maryland student inside her on-campus residence hall is believed to be accidental, police say.

      The student,{}Sarah Elizabeth Hancock, 20, was found unresponsive inside her room in Kent Hall at about 1:15 p.m., University of Maryland police officials say. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

      There is no indication of foul play or a suicide attempt; rather, police are calling the death an "unfortunate" accident.

      Hancock's family was notified shortly after the student was declared dead by Maryland State Police.
