Two women attacked by 15-year-old foster child in Va., arrest made
STAFFORD, Va. (ABC7) —
Two women were victims of an attack by a 15-year-old child who is reportedly in foster care last Friday, according to the Stafford County PIO Margaret Morris Moncure.
Deputies reportedly arrived at a home on Carriage Hill Dr. at around 9 p.m. where they found a 41-year-old woman bleeding from her head and face in front of the residence. Deputies then located an 86-year-old elderly woman inside the home who had similar injuries.
Reports say the home also housed a 15-year-old foster child who was not home when deputies first arrived on scene.
During an initial investigation, a baseball bat with possible blood stains was located inside the home.
At around 10:50 p.m., the 15-year-old was found in the 1400 block of Truslow Rd. The teen was charged with two counts of Aggravated Malicious Wounding. He is being held at the juvenile detention center, per Moncure.
The victims were transported to local hospitals where they are reportedly in serious condition.
