Two children, four adults seriously injured in Bowie crash

Two children and four adults have been taken to trauma centers after a single-vehicle crash in Bowie Saturday night.

Both children have life-threatening injuries. The four adults all have serious injuries.

Some of the patients were trapped in the car when it crashed at Church Road and Danube Lane in Bowie, according to tweets from Prince George’s Fire Department PIO Mark Brady.

In one update, Brady says three medic units, two ambulances, two helicopters, a heavy duty rescue squad, and two engine companies were called to the scene.

Bad weather prevented the use of the helicopters.
