Triple shooting in Queen Anne's County sends all victims to hospital

Three people were shot Thursday night during a cookout in a trailer park in Queen Anne's County, officials say.

The shooting happened at about 8 p.m. in a residential neighborhood on Grasonville Cemetery Road in Grasonville, just past the eastern portion of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

Queen Anne's Sheriff's spokesman Dale Patrick said that a group of people were having a cookout in the front yard of an abandoned trailer when an unknown person walked up and opened fire with a shotgun.

The victims, who are all males in their late 20s and early 30s, were taken to area hospitals and shock trauma centers.

      The suspect remains at large.
