      Teenaged girl shot in Southwest D.C.

      WASHINGTON (WJLA) - A teenaged girl was shot Saturday afternoon in the unit block of P St, SW, D.C. police say.

      The girl was conscious and breathing with non-life-threatening injuries when police found her at about 12:25 p.m.

      The suspect is described as a balding black male, 30-40 years of age, with grey shirt and dark pants.

      The suspect was last seen running on Half St. towards the Anacostia River, wearing a ski mask, police say.
