Storm damage reported at 20-story high-rise in Prince George's Co.
ADELPHI, Md. (ABC7) —
Fire officials are at the scene of an Adelphi high-rise apartment complex after structural damage was reported to some floors following Thursday night's storm.
Officials say some residents had to be evacuated at the Presidential Towers condominiums.
ABC7's Tom Roussey reports wind may have pressurized fan shafts, which caused a large crack on several floors.
Roussey says fire officials are checking to see if the damage isn't that serious before letting residents back in.
Fire officials say the damage appears to be cosmetic in nature and minor.
