(WJLA) - A Pikesville man was arrested during a prostitution sting and faces charges of impersonating a police officer.

Steven James Gravley Jr., 27, was arrested in January after arriving at an Anne Arundel County hotel concealing a BB gun in his waist band and wearing a shirt with an embroidered, gold badge on the front.

Police believe Gravley intended to rob the prostitute.

Gravley was charged with attempted robbery, police impersonation, and prostitution.
