A Virginia resident is among three men who are accused of an unfathomable act - traveling to central Oklahoma to loot from victims of last month's devastating tornado.
The Oklahoman reports that Steven Corky Daniels, a Harrisonburg resident, was arrested last Sunday in Moore. He told police that he drove from Virginia to the disaster scene to with the intent of lifting steel and copper wire.
Daniels was charged with misdemeanor disturbing of a disaster area. Two other men from western Virginia and New York were also taken into custody.
Twenty four people died during the EF-5 tornado, which caused billions of dollars in damage.
