Stephanie Schwab allegedly went on a crime spree that spanned several banks and carjackings over the past two weeks.
After police say she tried to rob a third bank in Arlington on Wednesday afternoon, Schwab was chased and captured off Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda.
Here's a timeline of Schwab's alleged crimes and what led to her capture:
Nov. 18: Stephanie Schwab is named a suspect and sought by authorities after allegedly robbing the Virginia Commerce Bank branch on Balls Ford Road in Manassas.
Nov. 22: Police say that Schwab may be connected two more crimes - the robbery of a BB&T Bank in West Springfield and the carjacking of a woman in Tysons Corner on the 19th.
Nov. 24: Schwab is picked up by a driver at a Safeway near Baltimore National Pike and Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville. Schwab then allegedly held the driver at knifepoint and told her to keep driving. The victim was injured during a brief scuffle, police say.
Nov. 30: Police say Schwab tried to rob another BB&T Bank branch, this one on Old Dominion Drive in Arlington. She then tried to flee in a blue Ford Escape with Pennsylvania tags, which had been reported as stolen.
Police then captured and arrested Schwab on Old Georgetown Road and the Capital Beltway after she crashed.
