Ariston Jamal Dickson charged in Robert Maurice Lesueur's death

A 21-year-old Southeast man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of Robert Maurice Lesueur.

D.C. police say Ariston Jamal Dickson was arrested Tuesday and charged with second degree murder.

The shooting happened in the 1700 block of 27th Street in Southeast just after 1:30 a.m. Monday, MPD officials say. It was reportedly connected to a domestic dispute, police say.

Lesueur, 23, of Northeast, was found unconscious and was taken to an area hospital. He later died as a result of his injuries.

D.C. police spokesperson Anthony Clay says the suspect is the new or ex-boyfriend of the victim's current or former girlfriend.
