It was a deadly night in Southeast Washington as two people were shot to death in separate incidents within an hour.
The first shooting happened just before 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of East Capitol Street SE. Police found 28-year-old Quentin Lavar White of Southeast suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
A suspect has not been identified.
About an hour later, a woman was shot to death in the 1300 block of Stevens Road, not far from Suitland Parkway. Malika Stover, 35, was found with several gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police have given no suspect information. It's unknown if the two shootings are related.
A reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
