(WJLA) - If ever there were a true sign that the weather is beginning to change in the Mid-Atlantic, we don't have to look any further than western Maryland.
A dusting of the season's first snowfall hit Garrett County and the Oakland, Md. area Wednesday morning.
A cold front began pushing through the region late last night, bringing rain showers to many parts of the D.C. metro area.
While the air won't be cold enough to bring any snow to our region - ABC's Brian van de Graaff says highs will top out in the mid 50's with a few sprinkles and showers - it'll be the coolest day of the autumn so far.
