Snobbiest cities, D.C. makes the list

What exactly makes a city snobby? According to Travel + Leisure Magazine, whatever it isD.C. has it. The magazine ranked our nation's capital at number nine in its list of Snobbiest Cities. And get this: the article says D.C. locals are ranked as some of the{}unfriendliest in the country.

Travel + Leisure had some "interesting" criteria for its snobby-meter. D.C. landed on the list because of our high-end shopping, the foodie-scene and a thriving theater crowd. Are these things really all that bad?

At the top of the list: San Francisco. I guess you can blame hip boutiques and high prices for that one. New York and Boston round out the top three for cities with the most noses in the air.
