Critically missing Fairfax Co. woman with cognitive impairment found safe
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (WJLA) - The critically missing Fairfax County woman has been found safe after she left a hospital Monday, according to authorities.
Fairfax County Police say Nannea Johnson, 65, was found Tuesday after being last seen at the Springfield Healthplex Hospital when she left her caretaker around 2 p.m.
Johnson has a cognitive impairment and needed medication, officials say.
Police describe Johnson as 5-foot-2, weighing 104 pounds with blackish-gray hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a dark gray jacket, black pants, dark shoes, and was carrying a light-gray sweatshirt and white handbag.
Police said she may answer to "Nan," which is what her family calls her, but was not carrying any identification.
